Director of Live Events
(Remote) AI-focused publication seeking a Director of Live Events. This position will be responsible for designing and executing live events that engage a broad spectrum of stakeholders and thought leaders in the AI space. This role will touch all aspects of the even, from programming to attendees and from operations to partnerships.
Main Responsibilities Include:
Design and execute a pre-eminent live events program in a variety of settings that convenes C-suite executives, policymakers, and technology leaders
Cultivate a premier network of industry and government contancts to ensure consistent engagement from prominent voices in technology and policy
Run end-to-end event operations including concept, speaker curation, venue selection, logistics, and follow-up
Create absorbing programming that addresses pressing AI questions and positions the outlet as the essential platform in AI leadership dialogue
Drive strategic partnerships with corporations, foundations, and institutions to expand
Qualifications/Experience/Skills Include:
Bachelor’s Degree
Extensive experience in event management production, operations, and marketing
Ability to travel
