Account Manager
(Remote) Design-focused materials marketplace company seeking an experienced, strategic Account Manager to own and grow relationships with a portfolio of large, high-value enterprise partners. This individual will serve as a trusted advisor to senior stakeholders, developing data-informed account strategies, leading business reviews, and guiding partners through renewals and expansion opportunities. This is a senior, commercially focused relationship role that combines executive-level account leadership with hands-on execution. The ideal candidate is highly analytical, comfortable navigating complex multi-stakeholder organizations, and experienced within the architecture and design (A&D), building products, or a closely related industry.
Main Responsibilities Include:
Own the overall health, value, retention, and growth of a portfolio of large, complex enterprise accounts, serving as the primary point of accountability for partner success.
Develop and execute data-informed, long-term account strategies that align partner objectives with opportunities for deeper engagement and commercial growth.
Lead the full renewal cycle from planning through close, proactively identifying risks and developing strategies to maximize retention.
Identify, develop, and close expansion opportunities within existing accounts, building business cases tied to partner needs and measurable outcomes.
Build trusted, multi-threaded relationships with VP- and C-suite-level stakeholders while effectively managing relationships across multiple functions and levels within partner organizations.
Lead quarterly business reviews (QBRs), translating platform and account data into actionable insights, strategic recommendations, and clearly articulated ROI.
Collaborate cross-functionally with product, data/analytics, marketing, and leadership teams to address account needs, solve complex problems, and deliver successful partner outcomes.
Qualifications/Experience/Skills Include:
10+ years of progressive strategic or enterprise account management experience, ideally within architecture and design, building products, construction, market intelligence/data-as-a-service, or a closely related industry.
Demonstrated ownership of renewals, retention, and expansion across a multi-million-dollar book of business.
Strong executive presence and a track record of building trusted relationships with VP- and C-suite stakeholders.
Strong analytical and data fluency
Excellent strategic judgment, communication, prioritization, and cross-functional collaboration skills
