Marketing Executive
(Remote) Independent publisher in the technology book space and online learning is seeking a Marketing Executive. The ideal candidate will be someone who can work in an autonomous role, proactively driving marketing initiatives. This role will develop creative strategies, think outside the box, and execute impactful campaigns to enhance brand visibility and drive reader engagement.
Main Responsibilities Include:
Develop and implement creative marketing strategies and campaigns
Identify opportunities for audience growth, reader engagement, and brand expansion.
Create compelling, original content for digital platforms, social media, email marketing, events, and PR initiatives
Cultivate and manage relationships with authors, partners, media, and industry stakeholders
Analyze marketing data, report on campaign effectiveness, and leverage insights to keep improving marketing outcomes.
Identify new marketing channels, partnerships, and strategic collaborations
Qualifications/Experience/Skills Include:
Bachelor’s degree in publishing, marketing, communications, or a related field.
Minimum of 3 years experience in a marketing role, preferably within publishing, media, or related creative industries.
Marketing experience working on tech products (books and courses) highly preferred
Experience independently managing marketing projects or campaigns
Experience engaging with technical communities through social media, digital marketing, or in-person events
Proficiency in digital marketing platforms, social media management, analytics tools, and content creation.
