Medical Communications: Upper Level Scientific
(Remote/Northeast) Seeking upper-level medical communications candidates. Senior Associate Scientific Director up to Scientific Director. These roles typically handle a client’s medical communications strategies, developing content that effectively aligns with those strategies, and recommending appropriate tactical approaches for achieving strategic objectives. This involves planning, developing, and overseeing the creation of strategic medical content for pharmaceutical and health care marketing and communications materials, which may be delivered through scientific platforms, slide decks, video scripts, interactive PDFs, eLearning, etc.
Main Responsibilities Include:
Interface with client groups and key opinion leaders, daily supporting assigned accounts by providing clinical expertise and leadership.
Strategic planning, ranging from crafting a brand’s strategic imperatives and scientific pillars to engaging with the internal or external team to develop a tactical plans
Collaborate with internal and client parties to help identify creative solutions and improve fulfillment of client vision
Collaborate with cross-functional teams
Plan, develop, write and edit materials as assigned.
Maintain a current knowledge of industry trends and standards and key medical topics and terminology
Qualifications/Experience/Skills Include:
PhD, PharmD, or MD
Three to five years experience in medical communications at the Associate Medical Director, Senior Associate Medical Director, and Medical Director levels.
