Senior Account Director

(Remote) Medical communications company seeking a Senior Account Director. This role serves as a strategic leader responsible for driving client success, leading high-impact projects, and fostering strong partnerships that strategically align with both client and company objectives. The Senior Account Director will oversee account strategy, team leadership, and client engagement while ensuring stellar execution of deliverables.

Main Responsibilities Include:

  • Provide clear direction, strategic input, and expert guidance to ensure all projects align with scope, budgets, and client objectives

  • Be the go-to strategic and trusted partner for clients, cultivating strong relationships and driving growth

  • Ensure project quality and financial benchmarks, managing forecasts and steering projects towards financial success

  • Promote organic growth collaboratively with Scientific Team, expanding partnerships and delivering value

  • Provide guidance and oversight of project teams, ensureing that all projects conform to scope of service, are profitable, and meet client objectives

  • Lead and inspire cross-functional teams, ensuring excellent project execution

  • Create, write, and distribute proposals for organic business growth

  • Serve as liaison between sales and project teams, providing updates on status of accounts and new business opportunities

Qualifications/Experience/Skills Include:

  • Bachelor's degree in life sciences, business, communications, or a related field; advanced degree preferred

  • 10+ years of experience in account management within medical communications, healthcare, or life sciences

  • Proven track record of managing complex client relationships and leading cross-functional teams

  • Ability to travel
