Sales Coordinator/Administrator
(Remote) Global, independent publisher seeking a highly skilled and experienced associate to provide strategic and administrative support to our Sales Director. This role is critical in ensuring the successful implementation and management of our 3PL/4PL stock holding strategy within the publishing industry. The ideal candidate will have recent knowledge of Ingram’s operations, a deep understanding of the publishing supply chain, and metadata management.
Main Responsibilities Include:
Work directly with the North American Sales Director and team on fulfilling customer requirements, managing product submission/set up forms, overseeing customer order management, administering customer portal systems, preparing sales presentations, handling product quotes and managing samples.
Provide administrative and operational assistance to the broader North American sales team as needed, helping to streamline processes, manage workloads and ensure the team meets its targets.
Serve as a key liaison between the US team and various overseas internal departments
Understand metadata and work with the marketing team to accurately load all relevant information into CoreSource to ensure data integrity and seamless integration
Monitor inventory levels and work with internal teams to make sure purchase orders are placed on time
Pull reports and analyze KPIs and sales data to provide actionable insights and support data-driven decision making for the Sales Director and the team.
Work with the marketing team to create high impact sales materials including sell sheets, catalogs and presentation decks as needed
Offer market insights and feedback to internal teams on future products, design, trend, pricing, and other critical elements
Present company titles at seasonal sales conferences and ad hoc pitch meetings, showcasing the value and market potential of products
Qualifications/Experience/Skills Include:
Bachelor’s degree
Knowledge of a 3PL/4PL logistics preferred
Ingram interface preferred
